2019 Planetary Health Annual Meeting

Organized by the Planetary Health Alliance and Stanford University, through its Woods Institute for the Environment and Center for Innovation in Global Health, this meeting aims to strengthen the scientific case for planetary health, learn from efforts to solve planetary health problems, and convene stakeholders from academia, the private sector, civil society and government to support conversations to address planetary health issues.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres will convene this summit to bring together world leaders of governments, the private sector and civil society to support the multilateral process and to increase and accelerate climate action and ambition. It will focus on key sectors where action can make the most difference — heavy industry, nature-based solutions, cities, energy, resilience and climate finance.
