The Rockefeller Foundation Economic Council on Planetary Health is pleased to announce the appointment of its two Chief Economists. Joshua Graff Zivin, Chief Economist, Environment is professor of economics at the School of Global Policy and Strategy and the Department of Economics of UC San Diego. Matthew Niedell, Chief Economist, Health is professor of economics in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. Together they bring years of cutting edge research and policy analysis to the Economic Council.
